Mass Intentions – March

On Friday, March 6, Christians around the world will observe the World Day of Prayer. This special day invites us to join in prayer with millions of people across the globe, reflecting on the hopes, struggles, and faith of our sisters and brothers in other countries.

Each year, the service is prepared by women from a different country, sharing their stories and experiences. In 2026, the focus is on Nigeria, and the theme for 2026 is. I Will Give You Rest: Come, reminding us of the power of prayer to unite communities and inspire positive change.

While our parish will not host a formal service, we encourage everyone to take a moment on March 6—alone, with family, or with friends—to pray, reflect, and give thanks. You might read the prayer materials online, light a candle, or simply offer a heartfelt prayer for peace, justice, and compassion in the world.

Let us use this day as a reminder that prayer connects us beyond borders, and even a simple prayer can have a powerful impact.

SFDS Ministry Schedule February 21 & 22, 2026

Parishioners of St. Francis de Sales Parish are warmly and prayerfully invited to participate in

40 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration

Friday, March 6 to Sunday, March 8, 2026

For forty continuous hours, our Lord Jesus Christ will be exposed in the Blessed Sacrament. This is a powerful opportunity for our parish to come together in prayer, silence, and worship before Christ truly present in the Eucharist.

We will be offering these hours especially for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Our Church is in great need of holy priests and religious to serve in our parishes and guide future generations in the faith. Jesus tells us, “Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” This is our moment to respond to that call through prayer.

Spending time with Our Lord in His Real Presence is one of the greatest gifts we can give Him—and ourselves. In Eucharistic Adoration, we sit at the feet of Jesus, speak to Him heart to heart, and allow Him to strengthen, heal, and guide us. Even one quiet hour can deepen your faith, bring peace to your heart, and bear great spiritual fruit for our parish and the wider Church.

We strongly encourage every parishioner and every family to commit to at least one hour of adoration during these 40 hours. Your presence truly matters.

The sign-up list is available in the parish hall.

May the Lord bless our parish with many generous vocations and draw each of us closer to His Sacred Heart through time spent in His Eucharistic Presence.
