October Honoring Mary and the Rosary in the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025
Dear Parishioners,
October holds a special place in the life of the Church, as it is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This tradition reminds us of the beauty and power of prayer, especially the intercession of Mary, our Blessed Mother. In this Jubilee Year of Hope 2025, we are invited to deepen our faith, embrace hope, and draw closer to God through Mary’s guidance.
The Rosary is more than a set of prayers; it is a meditation on the life of Christ, seen through the eyes of Mary. Each decade allows us to reflect on the joyful, sorrowful, glorious, and luminous mysteries, bringing us closer to the heart of Jesus. For centuries, the Church has encouraged the faithful to pray the Rosary as a way of seeking peace, strength, and guidance in our daily lives.
Our Parish Challenge
This October, we invite every member of our parish to take part in a special Rosary challenge:
- Option 1: Pray at least one decade of the Rosary daily.
- Option 2: Pray the entire Rosary each day and offer it for your personal intentions, our parish, and the world.
To support this devotion, we will gather to pray the Rosary every day, 30 minutes before Mass. Come and join your fellow parishioners in this beautiful act of faith and hope. Together, we can make October a month of prayer, reflection, and renewal, trusting in Mary’s intercession as we journey through this Jubilee Year of Hope.
Let us take up this challenge and allow the Rosary to bring hope, peace, and joy into our hearts and homes.
In Christ and Mary,
Fr. Marius
