Dear Parishioners,
Just a quick heads-up: I will be away from Monday afternoon, October 7, through Thursday evening, October 9, attending our annual Diocesan Study Days. Yes, it’s that time of year when all active priests are expected to put on their thinking caps and pretend we have it all figured out!
Because of this, there will be no Masses on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (October 7–9). I know—don’t worry, I’ll try not to miss you too much. Think of it as a short spiritual vacation… for me… and a little extra quiet time for you.
I promise to return on Thursday evening, hopefully wiser, slightly more enlightened, and ready to celebrate Mass again with you.
Thank you for your understanding, and please pray that the “study” part doesn’t involve too many long meetings!
