Good news! This weekend we’ll be celebrating Mass back in our freshly painted church. There’s still a little work left to finish.

Starting Monday, we’ll be getting the offices, sacristy, crying room, and a few other areas ready for painting. The actual painting of the offices will begin on Tuesday. Because of this, the parish offices will need to be closed for in-person visits. Our secretary will still be working, but her availability will be limited. If you need anything, please give her a call (403) 652 2203 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

In case of an emergency, you can always reach out directly to Fr. Marius (409.992.2313)

If all goes according to plan, the whole project should be wrapped up by September 17th. Regular office access will resume on September 15th.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we finish this big project. We’re excited to welcome you back into a refreshed and brightened space!

Let us pray for the victims and families affected by the senseless shooting at the Catholic school in Minneapolis. May God bring healing to the wounded, eternal rest to those who have died, and comfort to all who mourn. We also pray for peace in our communities and for the conversion of hearts, so that violence may give way to reconciliation and hope.

We pray to the Lord.

Mass Intentions – September 2025

Did you know that St. Francis de Sales has a Prayer Chain Ministry?

This ministry is a beautiful way to support one another through the power of prayer. Members receive prayer requests and commit to praying for the intentions of our parish family and community.

If you feel called to join the SFDS Prayer Chain, please contact Nancy in the parish office:
