After a wonderful holiday, I am happy to announce that I have returned to the parish—and the parish routine has returned with me!
The suitcases are unpacked, the laundry is (almost) done, and the alarm clock has once again become my spiritual director.
I enjoyed the holiday very much, but I have to admit that I missed our parish family. And now that I am back, I am ready to return to the usual schedule: Masses, meetings, phone calls, paperwork, pastoral visits… and wondering where the holiday went so quickly!
So, dear parishioners, please pray for me as I make this difficult transition from “holiday mode” to “Father, could I have a quick word with you?” mode. 😄
It is good to be home!
